About me:
¡Hola! My name is Carina Saiidi Padilla and I am a highly effective Spanish teacher based in Los Angeles. I am credentialed in Spanish with more than 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I attended the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) for my undergraduate degree and studied History, and minored in Spanish and Portuguese. I studied abroad in Madrid, Spain (2008), and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2011). I earned my master’s degree in Education at Loyola Marymount University (2014). Currently, I am earning my Ph.D. in Spanish Literature at the University of California, Irvine! and teaching Spanish at Concordia University.
I love to share my passion for the Spanish language and diverse Hispanic cultures. For this reason, I have created this website, a YouTube Channel and a Podcast (on iTunes and Spotify) to guide students and teachers in their Spanish learning journey.
